Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Cockroach Battle (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, connect a wallet, or use related dApp interfaces for the CBC presale.
By using the site, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, do not connect a wallet or submit transactions.
1. Who we are
Cockroach Battle operates a web interface that lets users interact with public smart contracts on a supported blockchain network. We do not custody your private keys, seed phrases, or recovery phrases, and we never ask for them.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Wallet address you choose to connect, and related public on-chain data (balances, purchases, vesting, claims, referrals).
- Referral parameters such as a ?ref= sponsor address stored locally so the buy form can prefill your sponsor.
- Technical data such as browser type, device class, approximate region (from IP via hosting/CDN), pages viewed, and error logs needed to keep the site reliable.
- Communications you send us voluntarily (for example by email), including any wallet address you include for support.
We do not collect government IDs, banking passwords, or seed phrases through this interface.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Display live presale, vesting, claim, and referral data from the blockchain.
- Route purchase and claim transactions you approve in your wallet.
- Remember a preferred sponsor address and wallet connection preferences.
- Improve performance, fix bugs, and reduce abuse or fraud attempts against the site.
- Respond to support or partnership requests you initiate.
4. Blockchain and public data
When you confirm a transaction, it is broadcast to a public network. Wallet addresses, amounts, payment tokens, timestamps, and contract events are typically visible on a block explorer and cannot be deleted by us. Treat on-chain activity as permanent and public.
5. Third-party services
The interface may rely on third parties such as wallet SDKs (for example Reown AppKit / WalletConnect), RPC or indexing providers, hosting/CDN, and analytics or error monitoring if enabled. Those providers process data under their own policies. We do not control wallets you install or networks you select.
6. Cookies, local storage, and session state
We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep wallet sessions working, store a referral/sponsor preference, and remember basic UI settings. You can clear site data in your browser; clearing may disconnect your wallet session or remove a saved sponsor.
7. Retention
On-chain records persist on the network indefinitely. Off-chain logs and support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operations, security, or legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized where practical.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the website. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. You are responsible for securing your wallet, devices, and private keys.
9. Children
The site is not directed at children. Do not use the interface if you are below the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.
10. International users
Servers and providers may process data in countries other than where you live. By using the site you understand that information may be transferred across borders subject to applicable law.
11. Your choices
You can disconnect your wallet, clear browser storage, stop using the site, or email us to ask about off-chain data we may hold related to your support requests. We cannot erase public blockchain records.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
